I did a really lame Photoshop job to remove a satellite dish that was on that chrome-trimmed roof below the tavern sign. I admit it- it was my first time using that part of Photoshop. but the damn dish took away from the niceness of the old sign. Which I think still works. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
I don't even know the name of this business, this is the only sign they have, aside from the "Transmission Repair" on the side of the building. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
This business is still running. They just never updated their sign. And of course, I did the quick Photoshop lomography. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
Its a good old-fashioned metal and neon sign. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
Back in the day, this was probably a hoppin' place. Its on Highway 51, which was the main highway from Illinois/Wisconsin border to the north. Now I-90 takes away from it. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
I don't know what kind of store it was, but this is on the back of a series of buildings. On the other side is an "Irish Pub", a tattoo shop, a jewelers, an art gallery, and a city office. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
This is painted on the side of an old building downtown. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
They were going to tear it down and put up a Quik-Trip (convenience store/gas station). There's a gas station a half a mile in either direction. So Mr. Davis bought it and kept it open. Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
Apparently, it was good stuff! Pahz on Flickr: Posted a Photo
I stayed at this motel once in 1985... it still looks the same. Lomo'd in Photoshop. minolta102 on Flickr: Posted a Photo
A very special guy looking dapper and flying high at Austin's Barbershop in Beloit, Wisconsin. Rod, the barber, truly enjoys his work and treats them to a great haircut experience and some balloon artistry to close the deal. tomleu68 on Flickr: Posted a Photo

While returning home from a presentation at the library, I spotted the reflections during the heavy rain. Shot taken with my little Oly point and shoot while sitting inside the car. lalobamfw on Flickr: Posted a Photo
